“ARNTHOLOGY” is a new collection of 21 performances by Arne Fogel, spanning over 55 years of great recordings, covering the years 1971 to today! The present-day performances recorded just for this album feature Arne with The Wolverines Trio, Rick Carlson, Jennifer Grimm, Tony Balluff, Lee Blaske, Rebecca Fogel, and Pete Whitman, and vintage performances include The New Standards, Dale Menten, Barry Thomas Goldberg & The Batch, Tanner Taylor, Rick Carlson, The Wolverines Trio, and lots more!
The album contains lots of new tracks, original songs, old tracks from the 70s, old and new jazz tracks, and, at the album’s heart, a sweet little session from 2006 featuring Rick and Arne in several standard songs that no one’s ever heard, and that we know you’ll love. All selections have never been released digitally, and only one was ever released in any form, the 1972 Collector’s Item: “Sven Ivan O’Myron Wisnewski”
